Two weeks ago, Samsung teased a collaboration with luxury fashion brand Maison Margiela, but it didn’t reveal what product it was. And we expected it to be the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and Galaxy Watch 4. Today, the company teased more information about the upcoming collaboration.
The company released an image showing the Galaxy Z Flip 4 with Maison Margiela Edition branding. The device will likely come in a white and black avatar with the Maison Margiela numbers theme on the back. There may be fabric covers and cases for the foldable smartphone. It’s also possible that there will be similarly themed versions of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and the Galaxy Watch 5.
A few days ago, Samsung’s Instagram account mentioned Maison Margiela’s “iconic four dots” and “iconic digital coding ring”, and we can see it in the design and packaging of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition. The South Korean company has yet to announce an official date for the launch of its next limited-edition foldable phone, but it has announced that it will arrive soon. We expect the phone to be unveiled in November 2022.
Samsung has released Thom Browne versions of its foldable phones for the past two years, but this year the company hasn’t released similar limited-edition versions of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.
