The seventh round of the Ludo Super League 2022 culminated on Sunday 8and May at Merina Country Villas, Nkowe.
There were victories for Masaka Giants, Buyende United and defending champions Kireka Kisansa.
Masaka Giants humiliated Bassajja Bayiiya 3-1. Kireka Kisansa beat the Kings 3-1 as debutants Buyende United needed the same score line to beat Nansana All Stars.
Three games ended in stalemates identical to 2. These were Buloba A v Ntinda United, Nansana United v Nakawa Market and Kazo Hill v Busega.
Nansana Galaxy tops the 12-team standings with 12 points.
Five teams have 11 points each; Buyende United, Buloba A, Kings, Masaka Giants and Busega.
Kazo Hill is at the lowest with 6 points, like Nansana All Stars.
The 8th day will be played on the 15thand May 2022.
Uganda is making optimal use of the national league to prepare for the International Ludo Nations Championship (ILNC) to be held in Nepal as well as the African Individual Ludo Nations Championship (AL-NIC) in South Africa during the same year.
The national ludo league is organized by the Uganda Ludo Association (LUA).
