film for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is underway in Atlanta, and recent set photos show two Guardians showing up to film.

New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 set photos from the film’s set show Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff – who portray Drax and Mantis respectively in the film – walking on set in costume. Both actors are seen dressed in what appears to be more modern clothing, with Bautista in his traditional boots and pants, but with some kind of sweatshirt, while Mantis wears a bomber jacket that features a ton of different patches.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is again written and directed by James Gunn. It features the return of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as they reprise their respective roles as Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Kraglin, Nebula, Mantis , Rocket and Groot. Joining them are Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomers Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji, with Poulter confirmed to be playing Adam Warlock.

The space travel team was last seen in 2019 Avengers: Endgame where they were joined by Chris Hemsworth’s Thor during the film’s final moments. For this reason, some of the guardians of the galaxy stars such as Pratt, Bautista and Gillan are set to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
The long-delayed film is currently set to debut on May 5, 2023.
