Galaxy Racer (GXR), the world’s largest esports, gaming and lifestyle organization, has announced its foray into gaming by sponsoring Rogue Jam, a brand new indie jam competition. This makes Galaxy Racer the first esports organization to launch into the game. The Galaxy Racer brand will be visible throughout Rogue Jam’s marketing campaigns, including post-event coverage.

IGN and Rogue Games are teaming up to produce Rogue Jam, a brand new game jam that offers exclusive development deals and a total of $ 800,000 to competing independent game developers.

Submissions will be accepted between November 29 and December 31 on the Rogue Jam homepage roguejam.com , with the finalists featured on a show produced by IGN in early 2022. The grand prize winner will take home US $ 500,000 to develop their game as well as an exclusive publishing deal with Rogue Games.

The competition will feature several other categories, including a “WTF” award for Rogue Jam’s strangest and craziest game, and an “Eye-Pppingly Beautiful” award for the most compelling game in the competition.

Both categories will offer prizes of US $ 100,000 as well as a publishing deal with Rogue. Smaller prizes of $ 50,000 plus a Rogue right of first refusal deal will be offered to the “Huge Potential” and “People’s Choice” winners.
