Update: Eidos Montreal now says Guardians of the Galaxy will make 80 GB, not 150 GB.
Original story: The system requirements for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy have popped up on its Steam page, and some of the specs aren’t that high for a game that’s going to launch with a bunch of PC-specific graphics improvements. The minimum GPU requirement requires a GTX 1060 or a Radeon RX 570, while the recommended GPU is a GTX 1660 Super or an RX 590. On the other hand, you will need 150 GB of free space to install this. which probably isn’t a huge long solo game.
To put that in perspective, it’s right ahead of Hitman 2 with all the DLC, which is also basically the entire first game and comes in at 149GB. Looking at some of the other bigger install sizes on PC, it’s still fine. behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone combined at 231 GB, but ahead of Microsoft Flight Simulator, which includes all of planet Earth and yet is still only 127 GB.
