Samsung Nigeria partners with Access Bank to make Galaxy S22 series accessible to customers

In a bid to make its revolutionary new Galaxy S22 Series mobile device more accessible to customers, Samsung Nigeria has entered into a strategic partnership with Access Bank to provide device financing to employees whose accounts are domiciled with the bank.

The device financing facility is available to customers of the bank from March 11, 2022.

Through this partnership, Samsung will support salaried Access Bank customers with a reduced interest rate of 50%, bringing the rate down to a fixed 13.5% per annum and around 1.1% per month.

The loan is expected to be fully repaid to the bank by the customers within 12 months. The loan does not require a down payment or equity contribution.

Speaking at the event to announce the partnership, Victor Etuokwu, Executive Director of Access Bank said, “We are very pleased to have entered into a partnership with Samsung Nigeria to give more Nigerians access they need to own the revolutionary new Galaxy S22. Series. Owning one of the Galaxy S22 series is easy, what all salaried customers need to do is log into QuickBucks to apply for a loan needed to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S22 series of their choice. It’s as simple as that,” he added.

QuickBucks is an Access Bank app downloadable from Google Play Store for Android phone users like Samsung.

It is through this application that salaried customers can apply for a loan and purchase the new Galaxy S22 seamlessly.

Through the app, customers can choose one of the available Galaxy S22 devices, complete the application, and pick up the device from any SLOT store nearest to them.

Also speaking at the official announcement of the partnership, Slot Systems Managing Director Nnamdi Ezeigbo said, “Customer service is at the heart of what we do at Slot Systems and a partnership like this is always a welcome development. Samsung announced the Galaxy S22Ultra, S22+, and Galaxy S22 at the Unpacked event last month.
