After launching Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M53 5G, Samsung plans to add another M series smartphone. Called Galaxy M13, the smartphone was spotted on Bluetooth SIG in April 2022. According to the FCC listing of the Galaxy M13, it will carry the model number SM-M135M. The listing also suggests that the smartphone will support 15W wired charging. It was previously rumored to feature a 5,000mAh battery. However, it is currently clear whether or not Samsung will provide a charger in the smartphone box. The smartphone has also appeared on Bluetooth SIG, where its listing reveals that it will run on Bluetooth v5.0.
The smartphone has been prone to leaks for months. It is believed to come with a dual rear camera system. Most likely, the main device smartphone will be a 50MP sensor. Apart from that, the Galaxy M13 might feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. Like other entry-level smartphones from Samsung, the Galaxy M13 might feature a teardrop notch at the top and a thick chin at the bottom of the screen. The other specifications of the smartphone are expected to be based on the specifications of the Galaxy M12, its predecessor.

Right out of the box, the Galaxy M12 comes with a 6.5-inch TFT LCD display that supports up to 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Exynos 850 from Samsung, an octa-core chipset. The processor is paired with 4 or 6 GB of RAM with 64 or 128 GB of storage respectively. Apart from the processor, the smartphone has a 6000 mAh battery. On the rear panel of the smartphone, there are a total of four camera lenses.
The main camera of the smartphone is a 48MP sensor, which is accompanied by a 5MP sensor and two 2MP macro and depth cameras. The front panel of the smartphone has an 8MP sensor. It runs on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 and has yet to receive the latest One UI 4.0 update. However, the Galaxy M13 is expected to ship with the latest version of One UI.
