In latest collaboration with Netflix, Samsung is making the most of the S22 Ultra’s Nightography features to celebrate the show’s season four premiere
Samsung Electronics debuted today Make STRANGER Nights Epica short film that exploits the advanced features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography camera to pay homage to the popular Netflix series stranger things. The video is part of Samsung’s ongoing partnership with Netflix and is available now on Samsung’s social media channels, arriving just in time for season four of stranger things deposited on the streaming platform.
In the short film, the stranger things– The inspired theme serves as a fitting backdrop to showcase the powerful Nightography capabilities of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. In the fourth season of stranger thingsthe night opens a portal to an extraordinary world — and the S22 Ultra is used to recreate that distinct style and tell a cinematic story demonstrating how Galaxy technology has the power to capture what would otherwise be invisible in the dark.
Make the night epic
In Make STRANGER Nights Epica young girl puts her Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in her back pocket while cycling towards a stranger things 4 watching the party at her friend’s house. During her journey, her video inadvertently turns on, capturing footage of what lies behind her in The Upside Down. All vertical phone footage scenes were filmed with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.1
The short also makes the most of the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s powerful Nightography camera features, which include a 108MP main camera and a whopping 2.4µm pixel sensor powered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) that allows it to capture more light and data for brighter, sharper video footage, day or night.
Create a galaxy of extraordinary content
Samsung and Netflix have a long-standing partnership and have collaborated on bespoke campaigns featuring many of the streaming platform’s most popular series. In January, they launched an integrated campaign to help launch the second season of Emily in Parisincluding allowing fans to “flip the script” and become the main character of their own animated poster via the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
Samsung and Netflix have also teamed up to create a Bridgerton short film for the unveiling of the Galaxy S22 series at Unpacked in February. In the three-minute skit, the innovators attempt to capture the attention of Bridgerton’s Queen Charlotte. Inventor Lord Tristar succeeds when he presents his visionary creation — Massive neoclassic paintwork of the Galaxy S22 and S22+, ready in 209 years.

After the May release of Volume One of Stranger Things 4, Samsung’s debut Make STRANGER Nights Epic comes a day after Netflix released the official trailer for volume two, which will be released on July 1.
