Samsung’s Mobile Experience business, led by Roh, oversees operations related to smartphones, tablets, personal computers and wearable devices – which Samsung seeks to connect as part of the Galaxy ecosystem that is becoming greener and more inclusive.
The South Korean tech giant’s latest efforts to reuse discarded fishing nets and adopt post-consumer materials in its hardware production, including its flagship Galaxy S22 line of smartphones, aim to improve technology as ” force of good”, according to Roh.
“From now on, more and more Galaxy devices will play a small role in reducing plastic waste in our oceans,” Roh, president and head of Samsung’s Mobile Experience business, noted in a statement.

The new device is expected to succeed the company’s flagship lightweight laptops, aimed primarily at office users, Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360, first unveiled at Samsung Unpacked in April 2021.
