Head-to-head: Los Dos have the advantage over Monterey Bay FC with wins in both games played so far this season, although both games have been played in Los Angeles. With this weekend’s game set to take place at Cardinale Stadium, it will be the series opener of the season at Seaside. The previous game ended in a 3-2 loss for the Union in Los Angeles on June 15.

Match outlook: Monterey Bay FC continue their push to cross the playoff line with an important game against Los Dos this weekend. Sitting just five points down with three games in hand, the Crisp and Kelp should have every chance of slipping into the mix if they are able to continue their recent form. Currently sitting in 8th place, Los Dos is one of the teams the Union will have to skip to cross the line, making tomorrow night’s game an important one for both Western Conference teams.

Additional Notes: With LA Galaxy II heading to MLS Next Pro next season, tomorrow night’s game will be the third and final time these two teams will meet in a regular season. Union’s James Murphy is set to return from his one-game suspension for accumulating yellow cards. Monterey Bay FC are 5-4-2 this season as hosts, while Los Dos are 3-8-3 on the road.
