Nothing launched the Phone (1) earlier this week. The company has been pushing many features of the phone especially its design since the start of its promotional campaign. The phone (1) has a transparent back panel as well as a bunch of LED strips that glow when users receive a call or a notification. These LED strips come in different shapes and sizes and can be seen through different areas of the rear panel.
The small design changes certainly give the phone (1) a unique look compared to smartphones. If you want your phone to look like something similar, Dbrand has you covered. The maker of vinyl skins for smartphones, laptops and other devices has launched its new collection of Something cases and skins to match the white and gray geometric style of the Nothing Phone (1).
The Something brand clearly pulls on Nothing. Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz said the main appeal of the Nothing phone is its aesthetics and thinks no one would want to cover it with a case or skin. “If we can’t cover the phone, how can we enjoy anything? Ijaz said via email to The Verge.
Currently, Something cases are available for a limited number of phones, such as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, Pixel 6 Pro, and Samsung S22 Ultra. The skins start at $24.95 (around Rs 2,000), while the case will cost $49.90 (around Rs 4,000).
Skins and cases don’t offer the LED light-up feature, of course. But if you want a phone that looks a lot like the Phone (1), at least from afar, this might be the closest thing to replicating its design.
