Earlier this month, we reported on Samsung’s plans for their second-generation Wear OS 3-powered smartwatch. From what we’ve found, Samsung looks set to drop the “Classic” branding from the top model. last year’s Galaxy Watch 4 lineup, instead opting to release a “Galaxy Watch 5 Pro” without a rotating bezel.
The latest information comes courtesy of respected leaker Evan Blass, who shared an image showing a variety of announcements related to the Galaxy Watch 5 series. These listings show both the retail name of each watch – “ Galaxy Watch5” and “Galaxy Watch5 Pro” – as well as Samsung’s internal codenames for the duo – “Heart” and “Project X”, respectively.
As expected, the Galaxy Watch 5 comes in two sizes, while the Pro version appears to only have one size. More importantly, the listings go into more detail in which colors each version of the Galaxy Watch 5 should be available.
The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be offered in two colors, listed as “Black Titanium” and “Gray Titanium”. This confirms earlier rumors that the high-end watch will use premium materials like sapphire crystal and titanium.

The larger size of the Galaxy Watch 5 will come in an exclusive “Sapphire” colorway, while the smaller will come in “Pink Gold.” That’s not far off from last year, when the Galaxy Watch 4 separated shades of green and rose gold between its larger and smaller models.
