Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy S22 series very soon with the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. However, while the promising new flagships aren’t coming, the company is keeping the market engaged with the Galaxy S21 FE. Today, the company kicks off another year in Singapore with the announcement of the new products. The Galaxy S21 FE is featured, but there are other products like a portable projector. Galaxy S21 FE
As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is the big star of the show. This smartphone has spent all of 2021 leaking in the wild, and has also gone through several issues amid the crisis in the semiconductor industry. After serious issues and a lack of sufficient units for launch, Samsung fixed the issues and readied the device for this month. Now it’s hitting the shelves in Singapore.
The new Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available in Olive, Lavender, White, and Graphite colors and comes in variants with Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 depending on region. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G also features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. Moving to the rear we have a triple camera setup with a 12MP Wide Camera, 12MP Ultra Wide Snapper and 8MP Telephoto camera promising 30x Space Zoom, because that’s how Samsung calls digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, the device has a very capable 32 MP Selfie Snapper.
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G is currently selling for S$978 for the variant with 128 GB of internal storage and S$1,048 for the variant with 256 GB of storage. Customers getting the device until January 31 will get Galaxy Buds 2 true wireless earbuds worth S$248.
Galaxy Tab A8
Samsung is also offering a new budget tablet in the form of the Galaxy Tab A8. The new tablet features a 10.5-inch display with minimal bezels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The device is available in variants with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage.
The notebook also improves in the multitasking department allowing its users to use two apps simultaneously with the multi-active window feature. Moreover, there is an inbuilt screen recording feature with multiple options and settings.
The slate comes with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The device will hit shelves in Singapore this month.

Samsung also offers The Freestyle. It’s a portable projector, smart speakers and ambient lighting device all in one. The Freestyle displays a crystal clear image on any surface from any angle.
