the Frankfurt Galaxy from European Football League signed the former French linebacker Wael Nasri.
The defending champion Galaxy are delighted to have one of the best defenders in the league at their side this season, Frankfurt head coach Thomas Kösling on Nasri:
“We can announce an absolute addition to our squad in Wael Nasri. As well as playing in the European Football League All-Star Game, he led the league in tackles last year. He will definitely strengthen our defence”
The 5’11”, 230-pound linebacker led the European Football League in his inaugural season with 141 total tackles in ten games, averaging 14.1 tackles per game for the Berlin thunder. The 24-year-old also recorded 11 tackles for loss, four sacks, four pass breakups and even blocked a field goal, earning ELF All-Star honors.
Nasri is delighted to join the first league champions:

Nasri brings his experience playing college football to Canada, adapting to the Concordia University Stingers (USports), and playing of Quebec Cegep level. He also played for the Triangle Razorbacks of Denmark in 2020 before joining the ELF. Nasri was invited to the NFL International Combine in London last October, but was not selected for the NFL International Pathway Player Program.
the French talents join Swedish defenseman Sebastian Gauthier in what should be a fierce linebacker core in Frankfurt. the Galaxy also re-signed quarterback Jakeb Sullivan and offensive lineman Yannic Kiehl.
